CONFERENCE WEEKEND!

So, I got to go to Utah for Conference Weekend! THANK YOU I NEEDED IT. It was so great to have a mini vacation. We got a ride with Natalie, thank you again Nat! I stayed at my friend's Missy's house in North Jordan. Cache Valley is... so pretty!!!!! So, friday we went to get Chick Fil'a with Missy's sister, Maddie which was delicious. Saturday we woke up, got ready and drove down to Salt Lake hoping we would get tickets to Saturday Afternoon session. We got there and I literally saw so many people I knew!!! I ran into Natalie and Kelsey, Daniel Young (a mission who served in Redmond Third... YEARS ago), Spencer and Conrad, Sister Gee, Leo and more!

So Missy's Mom said we should try to find some sister Missionaries and hope they give us tickets. We started talking to these sweet sisters who didn't have any tickets sadly but told us they'd pray for us to find tickets! We decided then to go wait in the Standby line. Missy started getting a bloody nose so ran to the bathroom and not even 5 minutes later, a man came up to me (who looked pretty serious and had a packet of something in his hand) and asked me how many tickets I needed!!! PRAYER WORKS PEOPLE! and they were AMAZING SEATS!!!!! After conference we went and took pictures in front of the temple of course. It was just an amazing day! I am so so sooo blessed that I was able to attend conference live for the first time, EVER!

Hello October!

Three weeks down of school! 11 weeks left of the semester! Anyways, I've been keeping busy but having fun! Lets see, there has been a lot going on! Natalie and I and "the boys" went to Rock the Block the first weekend of school and that was a lot of fun! Different bands played and I met up with my friends Maddison and Missy! Then, me and my friends went and got Nielsen's frozen custard and went on a walk to the temple one night which was just so nice! The weather has been perfect these last three weeks.

Jeffery R. Holland came and spoke at devotional last week. IT WAS THE BEST. He talked about happiness and how we can gain happiness. By living the gospel and following Christ's example. One quote, he said that I loved was "Don't base your happiness on someone's UNhappiness." GREAT REMINDER!! A lot of the time people base their happiness on others opinions (which can be negative which is their unhappiness) which we should NOT do!! Also, last friday I "modeled" for Natalie and her roommate Courtney which was loads of fun! They are both insanely talented.

Then afterwards, Natalie and I got thai food and met up with the boys to get ice cream at scoops! This weekend, I'm going to Utah with Missy and hopefully going to be watching a session of Conference IN the conference center! Fingers crossed!!!! :)

I'm blessed to have the people I do in my life. Not only here in Rexburg but my family and Ian as well. Ian's doing amazing work and I am so proud of him. I love him with all my heart and can't wait to talk to him! He's been gone for 8 months now!!!!! Crazy! 1/3 of the way done :)

Back in the BURG

Guess who's back back back, back again ... me! I'M BACK IN REXBURG. Fall 2014 here I am! This is my 3rd semester at BYU-Idaho and I really do like it! I mean, sometimes. Depends on the day. But! It does have its perks. I just really do not like the town it is in. I'm excited to start my 3rd semester here though! I made some goals for myself for this year.

1. Get all A's
2. Get into shape!
3. Have FUN with my friends
4. Strengthen my relationship/testimony with my Heavenly Father

I am so glad I have friends here too so I'm not sitting alone in my apartment missing Ian. I'm using this time away from him to become the best version of myself, grow as an individual (and a couple) but become a better disciple of Christ.

Friday was move-in day and it went great! My parents stayed here till Saturday and helped me with everything. They are seriously the best. I am so blessed! Saturday I was reunited with one of my best friends Missy!!!! She is amazing and it was so good to talk with her. Then I hung out with my friends, Natalie, Tucker, Carlin, Zander and the boys' two roommates! It was really fun! I can't wait for school to start. I'm such a bookworm but I love getting a schedule and working hard! Heres to Fall! Lets hope it doesn't snow until November like last year....!!!!

Ed Sheeran!!!!!

Last Thursday, I went to the Ed Sheeran concert with Kelsey and Natalie. It was amazing! Like, think of being on vacation, laughing, happy and listening to awesome music. Just having an amazing time. That was the Ed Sheeran concert! He is AMAZING live. His talent is, can you guess? Amazing. I wish I could replay that night over and over again. He had an opening act, called Rudimental and they were just... weird. But we made a fun time out of it by getting crazy and dancing. Everyone around us, gave us incredibly dirty looks but we just laughed it off. I love hanging out with those two, because its always so much fun. Ed played some of his old music too and it was just fun to sing at the top of my lungs. He played, A team, Lego House, Sing, Don't, One, You need Me, Goldrush, I see Fire and more! I am so glad I went and am definitely going to his next concert.

Lake Day with Jens! :)

So I really need to get better at posting on this blog. Anyways, about 2 weeks ago I went out on my boat with one of my best friends Jenna! :) She was leaving for school in a couple days so we decided to enjoy a day on the boat!! We went tubing, swimming and just hung out! We even passed Sydney Rice's house and he was OUTSIDE!! It was awesome!! Here are some pictures from the day:

#sandpoint2k14

BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE. I got to go to Sandpoint, Idaho with one of my best friends Natalie and her family. There were about 5 families total and it was just SO MUCH FUN! We stayed at the Rands lake house, which is truly magical. Their hospitality is amazing. Becky Rands is one of my new favorite people!!

Seriously there was so many things that happened. First, how about us running on the gas on the way TO Idaho?! Yeah that was crazy! The whole time it was just so relaxed and there was no schedule the whole time. It was awesome! The first day we went bike riding and got ice cream, paddle boarded, went on the jet ski and just laid out in the sun. The next couple days were filled with boating, wake surfing, fishing (I CAUGHT A FISH!), canoeing, hiking, berry picking, tandem biking, snake catching, star tripping, SO MUCH FOOD, tan lines, bridge jumping (I didn't jump though), tube wars and just lots and lots of good memories. Natalie and I also slept IN A TREE HOUSE. No joke! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to go to Idaho and that Natalie even invited me! I hope we get to go next year ;)
